Well. It's been awhile. I'm going to try to write this blog every day. Sorry for dropping the ball.
My Oilers missed the playoffs. Mac T was fired..er uh sorry relieved of his duties. Next season will come with a new benchboss, Brent Sutter? Pat Quinn? Kelly Buchberger? Charlie Huddy? Mark Messier? Or someone that I have not listed. Will Ales Kotalik come back after he started to fit right in on that top line with Hemmer? Will my wish come true and Sam Gagner be given number one center duties, with cogs number two and Horcoff on the third line with Moreau and Pisani!!? Will Jagr sign with the Oil!? Princess 68 on the back of an Oiler jersey would be pretty sweet. But the biggest question... will Rollie be back? If not, who will tend the net in Oil Country?
Changes to come in Cow Town to the Flicks? With 5 players taking up 30 million and the cap going down next year can they spend 20 million on 15 or so players to fit the cap and still keep the fans happy? Will Keenan be fi...relieved... or is he safe? Will any heads roll for being eliminated for the 4th straight year in the 1st round.
Montreal faithful will see new faces next year.
Draft day will be an interesting one, and then Free Agent day July 1st... WOW! Christmas in July.
I would be the last person on the planet to cheer for either the Canucks or the Maple Leafs, but I will admit I'm excited to see if the Sedin's will sign in Van City and what Burke will do to get the Leafs into the playoffs.
Where will Jay Bouwmeester sign!? And what in the heck will the Flyers do for a goalie with both their netminders contracts up.
Very Excite for the Ovechkin-Crosby series to start... Lets go O V. Hope to see cry baby Crosby taken out by OV in the first period. "Crosby's head is down at center. Ovechkin open ice hit on Crosby. Oh boy. Crosby is motionless." YES! A guy can dream right?
